Dynamic Saliency Map considering Characteristics while Driving

Abstract

This research proposes a novel dynamic saliency map to predict movements of humans’ eyes while driving. This dynamic saliency map is obtained as a mixture of multiple characteristic maps with mixing weights, which are estimated by using observed fixation point data for in-vehicle camera images.
