Abstract
Crystalline selenium (c-Se), which shows a high spectral sensitivity in the visible light region, is suitable for a photoconversion layer in imaging devices. We optimized the structural design of c-Se-based photoconversion layers, which are overlaid onto the CMOS circuits, from the results of IV characteristics measured under different directional incident light.
