Sialolithiasis of the submandibular gland is a relatively common disease, but it is rarely observed bilaterally. We report a case in a 37-year-old man with two sialoliths in both of the submandibular glands. Under general anesthesia the submandibular glands with a 14×11×7mm (0.75g) sialolith on the left and a l9×12×9mm (1.19 g) sialolith on the right were removed.Postoperative recovery was uneventful, and the follow-up examinations showed no side-effects of the operation.
