We experienced 5 paraquat poisoning cases from 2015 to 2021. Previous case reports indicate that paraquat poisoning is likely to occur in the rural area, and since our hospital is located in the rural area, those who attempted to suicide were easy to get these drugs. Besides, they have psychological backgrounds, like depression and bipolar disorder. Since paraquat-diquat combination which contains low concentration of paraquat is easy to reach lethal dose, other administrative measures or strict management of PGL by owners are expected.
