Abstract

This study explores processes used to inculcate corporate ethics into organizations in a specific manner. These processes differ from vertical directives that are dictated by an organization's internal control system in that they involve techniques that promote active communication horizontally within the organizational structure. In particular, this study employs attributes and perspectives from four management study frameworks: management leadership, functional organizational structure, SECI model, and case method. This study suggests that, using these horizontal processes, the value sharing concept can facilitate the inculcation of ethics into corporations. Furthermore, this method may enhance the ethical judgment capability within corporations as a preventative measure against fraud.
