Abstract
This article reports governance of YMCA at first, as the typical example of NPOs. In comparison of it with the case of business enterprises, I intend to clarify the difference between them. In NPOs, I clarify they are fundamentally relieved of main causes against ethical norms. The purpose of NPOs is based not on earning profit, but on realizing normative mission. Mission is the base of every activity. Value premises, which are lost by giving priority to profit in business enterprises, are functioning in NPOs. As the good corporate governance model, business enterprises have many suggestions to study from NPOs.
