Abstract
The ways of making super structure of implants are two types.One type is cementing,and another one is screw retaining type.Consideration of repair and maintenace of setting of implantʼs super structures,screw retaining type is better than cementing type.In the case of much missing theeth,this type is especially useful.But screw retaining method by lost wax had problems of the precision fit,the strength frameworks and complicated method of welder.
In this century,PIB(Procera Implant Bridge) of Nobel Biocare AB,typical and important method of Computer numeric controlled(CNC)-milled frameworks guided by CAD/CAM system,have been carried out in clinical cases in long time.In 2009another system of PIB(Nobel Biocare AB),I-Bridge(Bio-Main AB) system is start in clinical cases as CNC-milled frameworks.
In this report,we introduce how to make these CMC-milled frameworks and clinical procedures for successfull implant prosthesis concerning 486 cases in 10 years.And we consider the success rate of implants in these cases supported by PIB and I-Bridge computer numeric controlled( CNC)-milled frameworks.All implants are made by Nobel Biocare AB and the number of implants of this method is 1563.The number of removed failed implants is 5 and clinical survival rate is 99.93%.Getting the high score of success rate is because of good precision of fit and enough hardness of these frameworks.
