We propose a new spectral inversion analysis method considering apparent incident angle. First, we found numerical simulations in stratified media reveal strong dependence on apparent incident angle. Next, applying this method to data observed at Southern Niigata districts, we found propagation path characteristics also reveal strong dependence on apparent incident angle, spectral amplitudes at near distances become larger than those evaluated by the conventional method, spectral amplitudes at near distances can be well explained by our method and source- and site-characteristics by our method are almost the same as those obtained by the conventional method. Therefore, we can evaluate accurate strong motion by using new propagation path characteristics.
