One proposal for sustainable implementation of Visit-Japan tourism

Abstract

Visit-Japan tourism contributed to show big surplus of tourism balance in 2015 after 45 years and to sustain its trend, which deems to be the industrial efforts under governmental initiatives and support, and is appraised as travel & tourism competitiveness by World Economic Forum. However, WEF's low ratings to attitude of people toward foreign visitors could not be overlooked. The data showing big individual payers like repeaters and westerners make much of close contact to people and their daily life, urges people's more involvement in visit-Japan tourism. This study explores sustainable visit-Japan tourism, highlighting on people's involvement and warm welcome to foreign visitors.
