Abstract

  The purpose of this study is to examine the personal relations network,and its process, the relations with anxiety and depression, and the important factors of confidence in personal relations in 4 early adults groups by using questionnaire and interviewing. The 4 groups were classified based on security of childhood recognition of personal relations and security of present recognition of personal relations. Secure-secure group showed high security in various personal relations, low anxiety and depression-even if they had experienced personal negative life events, they got supports or opportunity to improve personal recognition. Although Secure-insecure group showed stable relations with the family, they had experienced negative personal life events that might have influenced their recognition of personal relations. Insecure-insecure group showed low security in various personal relations, high anxiety and depression, and they had experienced negative personal life events repeatedly. Insecure-secure group showed stability in relations with community,they gained stability of personal relations recognition from another person besides caregivers.
