Abstract

The northwest region of Sichuan province is mainly inhabited by ethnic minorities, known as "the national second big Tibetan area". The local area is rich in luminous energy, the amount of annual solar radiation and sunshine hours were the highest in Sichuan province. The local annual long winter without summer. Existing Tibetan farmhouse is built with traditional materials and form. That has retained the original Tibetan architectural features, but greatly increase the energy consumption of the building. This paper in northwest Sichuan province, Jiarong Tibetan village homes as the main research object. Through field investigation, the simulation analysis, the Jiarong Tibetan traditional dwelling houses of physical environment aspects launches the research, put forward Tibetan farmhouse green innovation design of improved technology. The indoor temperature can be risen to some extent by means of resetting the position of window and adjusting the size of window advisably. Moreover, the insulating property would be optimized by the change of structure of walls. And the improvement of interior air flow rate can be achieved in way of setting up ventilation tower.
