Abstract

Clinical art is aimed at activating the brain by making creative activities in accordance with a unique art program by a qualified clinical artist and improving symptoms of dementia patients. It is characterized by an approach that crosses the barrier of medical, art, and welfare. Currently it is widely adopted, such as mental health for society people and Company training. Although clinical art has been proved medically effective, the problem is that there are no suitable places for individuals, such as care for children who are concerned about development or people who are likely to withdraw. The target site is the bank of a river a little away from Kurosaki station in Kitakyushu city, Fukuoka prefecture. Kurosaki has developed and declined as an industrial city, and although it is a sub-center, it is a calm place where you can feel the bridge and birds singing in the vicinity. Therefore, I planned a base of clinical art which is expected to spread to the place suitable for the individual, the space suitable for the scene, the site of education in the future, etc. by combining the box with a letter C and the slope that connects building functions gradually
