Abstract
A Guinier Camera with a Johansson-Guinier type monochromator of (101) quartz was installed to a conventional X-ray generator with Fe fine focus for powder X-ray diffraction studies. Adjusting methods for setting Guinier Camera position was confirmed by observing direct X-ray on the X-ray film. To yield Kα1 radiation, precise adjustments of the monochromator under 0.003 degree is required. The X-ray diffraction patterns on the X-ray film were converted into digital data by a conventional imaging scanner and an imaging software.
