Abstract
Ca-tourmaline is occurred at the Kiura mine, Oita Prefecture has pleochroism of brown type, and it form zonal structure formed by complex solid solution with Na-tourmaline has pleochroism of blue type. This tourmaline is Al-rich remarkably, and ideal formula of it is Ca(Fe2+2Al)Al6(Si5Al)O18(BO3)3(OH)3O.
