Abstract
This study was performed according to mineralogical origin contained in the carbonaceous materials (CM) in black jade from Kanayamadani Itoigawa region in Niigata Prefecture.
XRD and Raman analysis is a large variation of the CM sample. Temperature distribution of Beyssec et al.(2002a) was a wide range (400-650) of values.
Analysis by TEM, the most common shape was filament type. The unique morphology was Carbon nano hone and Carbonaceous globule.
CM is distributed in the form of spherical or vein in the black jade. CM is considered to hydrothermal origin. Crystallinity of CM is determined by the width of XRD and Raman analysis. This shows the CM of multiple crystallization.
