Abstract
We found white dikes crosscutting deformation texture of lherzolite block within the garnet amphibole of metamorphic sole of Oman ophiolite. The dikes are composed of mainly clinopyroxene (CPX) with minor amount of serpentine, have high Na2O content (0.2-0.7 wt%) with wide Mg# range (0.81-0.88). The features imply their cumulus origin from evolved basaltic magma.
We will show the petrological and geochemical features of the clinopyroxenite dikes in detail, and discuss about their origin.
