Abstract
High-pressure X-ray diffraction study of RhOOH has been carried out at room temperature up to 16 GPa to investigate the compressibility of an oxyhydroxide with the InOOH-related structure. A fit of pressure-volume-temperature data by the third-order Birch-Murnaghan equation of state yielded isothermal bulk modulus K0 = 254(13) GPa and its pressure derivative K' = 2.2(14).
