Abstract
Olivine in most Martian meteorites shows darkening with unusual properties. The presence of iron metal or magnetite nano-particles is considered to be responsible for these properties. However, its formation and the P-T relationship are unclear. In proceeding work, we have observed lherzolitic shergottite NWA1950 by electron microscopes and reported new observations of iron particles. In this study, we made additional observation to reveal micro-structures of olivine with iron particles. It perhaps indicates high-pressure phase of olivine relates to the formation of iron particles. Further observation will lead us to better understand their formation process and shock metemorphism of Martian meteorites.
