Abstract

Crystal structural refinement of legrandite was performed using RIGAKU single crystal structure analysis system (RAPID). The hydrogen atom position, distortion around cations, structural relation among arsenate and phosphate minerals were determined. We also made it clear the charge balance in the structure by bond-valence method. We will discuss the details of crystal chemistry of legrandite and one-dimensional proton conduction.
