Abstract
We investigated one of eucrites Béréba to clarify a dynamic event occurring on 4 Vesta. Coesite and stishovite were identified in and around the shock-melt veins of Béréba. Considering radio-isotope ages, the expected age of the dynamic event that formed coesite and stishovite is ca 4.1 Ga ago, which is inconsistent with the predicted formation age (ca 1.0 Ga) of the impact basins on 4 Vesta.
