Abstract

We analyzed trace element and Sr-Nd isotopic compositions of the magmas from pre-Komitake volcano. From the Sr-Nd isotopic compositions, magmas of pre-Komitake volcano can be generated from the same source of Fuji volcano, and the crustal materials contributed to the magma genesis. Geochemical signatures, especially Eu* values, Al2O3 contents and Sr/Y ratios, plagioclase was accumulated in the primary magma of pre-Komitake volcano, and it was removed from the magma with the proceeding of the fractional crystallization contributed the magma genesis of pre-Komitake volcano.
