Abstract

Hydropyroxenoids with 3-periodic single-chains of SiO4, simplified formula (Li, Na)(Ca, Mn)2[Si3O8(OH)], from five localities were studied to examine the relation between Li-Na substitution and H-bond system. The substitution of smaller Li+ ion for Na+ gives an influence on the geometry polyhedra, and changes the bond valence sums of neighboring oxygens and hydrogen bonding system.
