Abstract

In this study, melting experiments of plagioclase with various compositions have been made at meteorite-shock-vein conditions, typically 16-23 GPa and above 2300 K, to discuss the shock metamorphism of plagioclase in a way of melting, cooling and crystallization under high pressures.
