We found nano-sized CO2-H2O fluid inclusions in calcite grains of a CM carbonaceous chondrite using TEM observation with a cryogenic holder. This fluid was incorporated into calcite grains as inclusions during aqueous alteration in the parent body of the meteorite. If CO2was originated from CO2ice, the parent body should be formed in an outer region of the Solar System, which is beyond the CO2snow line.
