Abstract

Various granitoids occur in the Asahi Mountains, northeast Japan. SHRIMP zircon U-Pb ages were obtained to understand timing of igneous activity of the area. On the basis of the age data, granitoids are grouped into older (99- 87 Ma) and younger (69-64 Ma) members.
