Abstract
Electric Field Gradient (EFG) tensor of Fe3+ in M1 site of aegirine was determined by Mossbauer spectroscopy using crystallographically oriented single crystal thin sections of aegirine. Asymmetric parameter was nearly equal to 1. The principal axes of EFG tensor of aegirine are almost oriented to a*, b, c-axes. Vxx component of EFG is along b-axis.
