Abstract

Flank-method by field-emission electron microanalyzer for Fe3+/ΣFe in iron oxide minerals including magnetite was well calibrated. Since the effect of beam damage on magnetite was negligible, a measurement of Fe3+/ΣFe in magnetite improved to sub -micrometer beam.
