Reinvestigation for hydrous arsenates from the Gozaisho mine, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan

Abstract

Various kinds of the hydrous arsenates occurred from the Gozaisho mine, Fukushima, Japan, but the information of some minerals is insufficient due to lack of data on the literature. On the other hand, a lot of new minerals of the the hydrous arsenates have been reported from abroad in recent years. Thus, we reinventigated the hydrous arsenates from the Gozaisho mine. Subsequently, we newly found castellaroite, coralloite, miguelromeroite, and parabrandtite from the Gozaisho mine. Those minerals occur in the cracks of the manganese ore.
