Study on meteoritic impact structure at Takamatsu-Kagawa district structure

Abstract

Impact and buried crater in active crustal regions are discussed by shocked quartz and Fe-Ni bearing grains at Takamatsu-Kagawa district in Japan. Crushed rocks at the buried crater can be mixed with foreign rocks which are not completely originated for impact crater. The previous reports on volcanic model for the buried structure cannot be fitted well with our collected data for impact structure. References:Miura et al. (2002): Geol. Soc.
