Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the ethical education of nursing in clinical practice.In this study, a simulation case about an issue of the truth telling in clinical practice was provided and 139 instructors who attended a workshop for nursing educators were asked to answer the following question:" What and how do you teach students who are in ad ilemma of the issue?".The data were collected from 136 subjects and we analyzed them by using Jameton's Model.Findings can be summarized as follows: 1. Many of instructors did not consider that it was necessary for them to take up the dilemma of students and to discuss them with their students .2. Few instructors make students think the values of the ethical decision-making process and copying method of nursing dilemmas.
