This article examines the present situation of state subsidy to NPOs in the field of social welfare in Sweden. The author discusses the orientation of government to NPOs from the viewpoint of "Existence" and "Result", also considers the meaning of state subsidy to NPOs. Main findings are: 1)NPOs' "Existence" itself is highly taken in Sweden even now, 2)There are certain social welfare activities being able to be realized thanks to the state subsidy.
