Abstract
It is not almost recognized that breath air contains more than 400 ingredients, according to another research paper. These should be all the metabolites in the body, and have meaningful biochemical and physiological information of the body alike as blood test. If the clinical significance could be shown to be useful in every area, breath analysis has the great potential of becoming useful as a rapid, non-invasive diagnostic technique. Recently in Japan, various exclusive gas analyzers have been developed, and clinical research has been active accordingly. Along with this, on the other hand, International Association of Breath Research (IABR) has been founded very recently. As the results of clinical research of biogas, these analyzers will be useful not only for the clinical diagnosis, but also for the monitor in daily life to note the health control. Therefore, development of biogas analysis and practical use is promising a great significance for social activity.
