The Current Status and Challenges of Health Management for Migrant Workers in Japan Overview of the symposium: Summary of the presentation and discussions

Abstract

This symposium was planned with the intention of providing a multifaceted and practical discussion on the current status and legal challenges of health management for migrant workers in Japan. Three speakers gave presentations on issues related to health management of migrant workers in large enterprises/ small and medium-sized enterprises, challenges through consultation on work-related accidents for migrant workers including foreign skilled interns. Following the presentations, the moderator and speakers took the lead in facilitating a discussion and exchange of opinions, further delving into the topics.
