Abstract
This paper presents a parallel finite element methodbased on the bubble element for Large Eddy Simulations (LES).A new Petrov--Galerkin formulation employing theLES/bubble element, which is to beequivalent to the stabilized finite element type methods,is proposed.Parellel implementation is carried out on the PC clusteremploying MPI. The present method is applied to the three--dimensionaltopographic wind flowsimulation.
