Abstract
In this paper, we present compressible flow calculations based on solving, the Euler and Navier-Stokes equations by Cartesiancoordinate system. The main consideration addressed in this study is the multi-directional finite difference method for all the space derivative terms. It is very suitable when flow direction is not well parallel to one of the coordinate lines. We show numerically that solving compressible flow by using the present method improves the accuracy.
