Abstract
The present paper treats a supersonic panel flutter of simply-supported symmetric laminates with a delamination. The effects of the location and size of delamination on the panel flutter characteristics of laminated plates are investigated by using a finite element method based on the Mindlin plate theory and a quasi-steady aerodynamics based on the piston theory. The varidity of the present analysis is also examined through the numerical examples.
