Abstract
In Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), work is presently underway for the complementary use of Experimental Fluid Dynamics (EFD) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The main purpose is to improve the utility of both EFD and CFD, and the data assimilation technique is expected to be a promising approach. In this study, a coupled system of high-speed CFD solver (FaSTAR) and MI (Measurement- Integrated) simulation algorithm is constructed, and an identical twin experiment of flow field around a 2-dimensional airfoil with difference boundary condition is performed.
