In Japan, full-scale vibration test data of buildings had been collected by mainly Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ). In 2000, data on general buildings and tower-like structures were compiled into the database, but most of the data at that time were relatively small amplitude levels. After that, several earthquake observation records, including the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake, have been accumulated. In parallel, the target of collecting data has expanded to various types of structures, such as vibration-controlled buildings, shell and spatial structures and small-scale buildings. In this paper, we introduce the outline of the AIJ database in 2020 and its analyses results.
