The purpose of this study was to examine and compare improvements of inner attitude in primary school children who participated in contemporary dance workshop led by four contemporary dance artists. 42 female and male children gave responses to the qustionnaire focused on “Self-Esteem” and “Good-Dance” image just before and after the participation. As results, both indicators have shown significant positive changes between prior and post responses in four groups. The results show that experience in contemporary dance workshops affects the improvement of “Self-Esteem” and “Good-Dance” image of children. In addition in order to improve in these two scales, it is important that contemporary dance workshops includes “imitation”. Movement in “imitation” might reduce the feeling of shame among participants. Improvement in “Self-Esteem”would be promoted by “improvisation” rather than “choreographed movements”.
