Sea Level of the Last Glaciation Maximum Based on In-Place Sediments on the Shelf off Sendai, Northeast Japan

Abstract

The lowest sea level during the last glaciation maximum is estimated to be 95±3m below the present level based on the sedimentological, diatom and ¹⁴C dating analyses of the in-place sediments of the two cores taken from the shelf off Sendai, Northeast Japan.
