This paper explains the main public acts about real estate in China. The land management act is a fundamental law about land, and specifi es the national ownership system and the onerous royalty system of land, basic land use plan sytem, land investigation/statistics system, a building lot, etc. The City Planning and Zoning Act specifi es a city, a city planning area, city planning, development of a city, reconstruction of an old city place, the procedure of a construction project, etc. The Land Expropriation Act specifies the subject of expropriation and compensation, the range of expropriation, the contents of compensation, expropriation procedure, etc. The Real Estate Deal Management Act specifi es a real estate agent, a sales person, the business and responsibility of real estate agent, the supervisor to real estate agents, etc.
