Yorta Yorta practice in South East Australia land and river management

Abstract

This presentation will analyse the follwoing 3 questions throgh the co-operative management between the Yorta Yorta and Victorian Government at Barmah state forest in south east Australia . 1.why have the Yorta Yorta continued their land rights actions?. 2.how have they practiced these actions? 3.how have these actions been carried out by the Yorta Yorta,local people, NGOs, and States and Federal Government.
