Abstract
My presentation examines the relationship among immigrant veterans, the military and the civil society by analyzing the organization and activities of the British Gurkha Welfare Society (BGWS). I conclude that BGWS tries to negotiate with British civil society, making use of various resources which comes from their experience in the British Army. That might lead to the articulating of citizens' ability and responsibility to the society with ethnicity.
