Abstract
I examine a martial race's role and agency in UK's international politics by focusing upon British Gurkhas' self-regulations against cross-racial marriages. The following is my findings; 1)British Gurkhas observed self-regulations against cross-racial marriages. 2) The regulations worked as a boundary work for forming civil-military relations and maintaining the hallmark of a martial race.
