Development of Disaster-Survival Notification System

Abstract

This paper discusses the Disaster-Survival Notification System for cell-phone.

In recent year, many huge earthquakes and TSUNAMIs occurred around the world. There are many requirements to use cell-phone to get the disaster information and to use notify their disaster-survival information to their family.

So, we developed the Disaster-Survival Notification System for cell-phone, “LifeMail” and have operated the system. The LifeMail system is based on the web and e-mail. A lot of huge earthquakes and TSUNAMIs occurred between those though we had operated this system since 2003.

This paper discusses the development of Disaster-Survival Notification System and its operation.
