Marangoni Convection in Cylindrical Container by Drop Shaft

Abstract

Marangoni convection in the cylindrical container is studied in the drop shaft facility. After the initial deformation of the liquid surface after drop, the center of the surface is heated and the Marangoni convection is driven by the dependency of surface tension on temperature.
