Abstract
The Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology (AIIT) is a public graduate school established to foster super-professionals by the Tokyo metropolitan government in 2006. We are adopting a Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology in order to provide students with high-level 1) technical knowledge, 2) skills and 3) competencies. Furthermore, as an advanced example of PBL implementation, we are carrying out PBL in the context of global collaboration software development jointly with several abroad universities (Brunei, New Zealand and Vietnam in addition to Japan). In this paper, we first report about the PBL's outline, cases and features as conducted in AIIT's master course of Information Systems Architecture. In addition, we report about global collaboration PBL that was conducted during 2014.
