Abstract
Recently the use of wind energy is becoming the center of public interest in.Japan and in1981the project of developing100KW class wind turbine generator started.Io design the wind turbine generator, it is necessary to solve many technical problems such as performance, control, vibration and structural strength, but these problems are often clarified by wind obServation at the site.For this purpose the wind observation has beer conducted ai Miyake Island smoc1980, which had been selected at the construction place.This paper describes about the site measurement and investigation on the design based on it.
