Study on Wind pressure of Low rise building with a flat roof

Abstract

This paper describes characteristics of wind pressure on the low rise building with a flat roof. The scale of the wind tunnel model was 1/20 and it had 225 pressure taps measuring wind pressure. The vertical profile in the wind tunnel flow was targeted category _II_ by AIJ recommendations for loads on buildings. As a result, the relationship of fluctuating wind pressure between full scale measurement and wind tunnel test results were similar. A decay factor value was approximately 6.
