Characteristics of Tornado-induced Wind Load on Low-rise Building Using Tornado Simulator

Abstract

This paper illustrates characteristics of tornado-induced wind loads on a low-rise builing model. The authors carried out wind pressure experiments using tornado simulator in ISU. The experimental results show that different location of dominant opening on the roof results in different tendency in wind load on the roof.
